The Mill will include EnergyStar facility design, complete LED lighting with motion activation, ultra-efficient motors, steel Yankee Dryers (which yield a 35% energy savings), high efficiency boilers, and every other applicable green solution.
In addition, Mill 2911 will invest €4.7M EUR into an onsite solar array of 8,866 solar panels which will generate 3 megawatts of solar power daily.
Careful application of these manufacturing assets was intended to reduce both the environmental footprint and production costs.
The manufacturing facility will include four advanced water treatment systems minimizing water usage and saving 100,000 gallons of fresh water daily or 34,000,000 gallons of water a year.
Additionally, Mill 2911’s policies include recycling of all paper, metals, plastics, wood, and any manufacturing chemicals.
